Syreeta Vaughn, a seasoned senior nuclear facility safety analyst with over eighteen years of experience, serves as a senior mission support staff member in ORNL’s MissionSupport Leadership Rotation Development Program. Her expertise has been pivotal in various programs at renowned institutions, including the Y 12 National Nuclear Security Complex, Pantex Plant, Savannah River Site, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Geology and Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Tennessee. Syreeta is now pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Occupational Safety and Health from West Virginia University, examining the safety benefits of site selection for a nuclear facility. As a mother of three beautiful girls, her greatest hobby is enjoying family time with her children and husband.
